(Sept. 27, 2018) — Riverbend Co-operative Ltd. has been ranked among Saskatchewan’s largest businesses.
In SaskBusiness Magazine’s list of the Top 100 companies in the province for 2018, Riverbend Co-operative Ltd. placed 96th, up from 102nd place last year, with 2017 sales totaling $54.5 million.
“Riverbend Co-operative Ltd. has grown a lot over the years and we continue to see success today because of the support of our members and customers,” said Greg Sarvis, CEO/General Manager of Riverbend Co-operative Ltd..
“While a lot has changed, our values and principles remain the same. We’re a local business that proudly delivers important goods and services, shares profits with Co-op members and makes investments to create new opportunities and enhance our communities.”
In total, 21 Saskatchewan-based retail co-ops are included on the SaskBusiness list. They’re also joined by Saskatoon-based Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL), which placed second in the rankings.
Combined, FCL and these retail co-ops had sales of almost $12.4 billion in 2017.
