Demaine, SK Celebrates Their Centennial In 2020

In preparation for their centennial year celebration, the town applied to be one of this year's recipients of our Communities in Full Colour program, with the goal of freshening up the community hall for next year's big party.

Needless to say, we were excited to be part of such a great cause, and our team headed out to Demaine.

Our Co-op volunteers arrived at the hall armed with 26 gallons of interior and exterior paint and painting supplies, where we met up with over 25 local volunteers of all ages.   

With so many people willing to engage and help, the adage of "many hands make light work" was proven to be true, with both interior and exterior walls being primed and painted in one day!
